This beautiful natural park was established in 1991 and was officially opened by Her Majesty Tunku Bainun, the Queen of Malayasia. It was since then managed by BBKL until 1st July 2001 when it was undertaken by Safari Bird Park.

Located in the serene and scenic Lake Gardens, it is only 10 minutes from the city center of Kuala Lumpur. It is well known world wide as the Largest Covered Bird park, home to more than 3000 birds from approximately 200 species of local and worldwide birds.

It covers 20.9 acres of verdant valley where visitors have an exciting experience of watching colorful and melodious birds perching and winging about freely while relaxing in a natural and beautifully landscaped surrounding. The most fascinating feature of the park is that all birds are let free in the aviary which resembles the natural habitat. With this type of free flight concept, birds are able to breed naturally in this unique concept bird park.

Here you can view a panorama of birds flying from one branch to the other. They live here as if it is their natural habitat. It is the ideal place for total enjoyment through the many fascinating sights which are soothing for the eyes and minds.
