Colors of Malaysia

Colors of Malaysia is a festival of the country's rich and beautiful culture, cuisine and crafts. The festivity includes colorful parades, exciting dance, music performances and exhibitions showcasing the beautiful examples of Malaysia's visual arts and handicrafts.

Celebrations take place in all the states. Visitors can expect to enjoy a colorful display of culture, arts and centuries- old traditions by multiracial and multiethnic communities. The theme is "Colors of Malaysia."

The festival opens in a grand style at Kuala Lumpur on July 8th at 8pm in a procession that will follow a 1.5km route. The festivity is extended throughout Malaysia and each and every state will be holding its own celebrations and promotions. This is one of the best times to be in Malaysia.

The Colors' of Malaysia' is a month- long cultural celebration which is packed with a kaleidoscope of events. Throughout the month there are numerous offerings including art and craft exhibits, sumptuous cuisine at food festivals, resplendently costumed music and dance performances and sports meetings.
