Established in 1928 the Telekom Museum also known as the Museum Telekomunikasi Negara or National Telecommunications Museum is a witness to 120 years of telecommunications development in the country.

At the time of its inception it was known by the name as the Central Battery Manual Telephone Exchange. The museum has most of the objects related to the telecommunication starting from the early days of the Morse Code Telegraph to the cellular phones and digital networks of the modern world.

The neo- classical Greek- styled museum provides you with a deep understanding about the telecommunication. The 70- year- old two- storey building contains eight columns and a sprawling 900 square meters of exhibition space. It is the first interactive museum of the country.

The museum is equipped with state- of- the- art technology. It exhibits archives of the nation's telecommunications development spanning 120 years- - from the Morse code telegraph to the present cellular phones. It plans to achieve this through developing people, products and services of the highest quality.
